About Us
AeV Architetti (Abbate, Vigevano and Masci) has been working nationally and internationally since 1995 in the sectors of the recovery of historic buildings and green buildings of which it is a pioneer in Italy. In the field of recovery we are permanent consultants for several international cultural institutions in Rome, including the American Academy in Rome and many US Universities that occupy historic buildings of which we have supervised renovations and restorations.

Our story
In the field of green buildings, we have created projects of experimentation and innovation in the field of renewable energy integrated into buildings, sustainable architecture and bioclimatics. Among our main consultancies, Eurosolare (ENI group for photovoltaics), ENEL, the Ministry of the Environment and the I.E.A. International Energy Agency.
We have created both in Italy and in Europe, in collaboration with the studios ECOFYS and BEAR Architecten (Holland), CENERGIA and ESBENSEN Consulting (Denmark), STUDIO E (England) the first prototype applications for new photovoltaic components for building envelopes sponsored by the European Community (Termie Projects).
Our know-how has allowed us to participate and be awarded in several national and international competitions, including the International Competitions for the Parco delle Torri in Rome and the Parco di Cavriglia in Tuscany, for the recovery of the Foce del Piave in Eraclea (VE), the Legambiente Lega Coop International Competition for eco-sustainable residences in Foligno and the RIBA competition for the new student residence at Glyndwr University, Wrexham (UK).
Our creations are published in the most important national and international architecture magazines (Europe, USA and Japan), we have participated in many international conferences promoting the use of these technologies. We have received awards such as the Energy Globe Award for the Children's Museum of Rome, and the Eurosolar Award for the Environmental Information Center of the Spiaggia dei Conigli in Lampedusa.
